Title: To challenge custody evaluation
Post by: fatherdon on Jul 22, 2008, 11:50:10 AM
Even though state law heavily favors me as the residential custodian because I encourage more open contact with both parents, the judge ordered a custody evaluation which my wife paid for because she can. The evaluation recommends that she be allowed to take our 17 month old son back to Russia and that he not be allowed to see me at all. This is based on interviews with 9 people who really don't like me, including my first ex wife and a hostile son. He did not interview anyone who would support me, including my oldest son. The clincher was that she accused me of child porn and masterbating in front of my infant son. The evaluator never asked me about this and I would have taken a polygraph if necessary. If I can raise some money, is the money better spent on an attorney or a psychologist? It may not be possible to afford both.
