Man Catches 2-Year-Old Girl As She Falls Three Floors

KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- A man caught a 2-year-old girl as she fell from a third-floor walkway at a resort.
Alan Burns, 43, was enjoying a weekend getaway at a the Dorsan Suites resort, sitting poolside, reading a book, when he heard a woman screaming about a baby.
From the third floor, a toddler was hanging from a railing on an outdoor walkway.
He and the woman ran underneath the child when the child let go of the railing and fell into Burns' arms.
The momentum carried them both into a bush, but the girl only suffered a bump and some scratches Saturday.
"I just happened to be at the right place at the right time," Burns, of Inverness, said Wednesday. He also credited the woman who first noticed the toddler.
The baby's mother showed up until several minutes after the incident and was arrested on a charge of child neglect.
Rosa Figueroa, 40, of Kissimmee, posted $1,000 bail Sunday and was released from the Osceola County jail.
