my husbands ex just got married to someone in the military and is relocated to a different country what can we do so that my husband can still see his daughter on a more permanent basis than only when she here visiting for the holidays, we are concerned because his ex's mother complains alot about taking care of his daughter so much but the ex won't allow him to have her also we have an older son together and don't want his relationship with his sister to suffer because his ex is moving out of the country. what can we do because i know he would definitely like to have his daughter but don't want to prevent his ex from moving on with her life either although she always finds a way to keep him from seeing his daughter as much as she can. how should we go about trying to see his daughter as much as possible?

What state are you in? But anyway, your husband needs to file a temporary restraining order & motion for change in custody/support immediately!! Biomom will have to prove to the court that moving is in the best interest of the child. If she can't, she moves on with her life but this time, she is the visitor. Move aways are getting harder & harder these days & rightfully so. This is, unless there is some reason your husband is unable to go for custody. If this is the case for one reason or another, then he needs to file immediately to modify visitation (longer periods of time) & make her responsible for ALL travel related expenses.

thanks kAt we are definitely devoted to seeing our children grow up together since they are siblings and a big part of eachothers lives, we will definitely try this and any other advice is welcome thank you very much.

Immediately file a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO). In the TRO, specify that the children are to be prevented from leaving the State.
