Does anyone know what the law is in the state of Georgia for criminal child interference is or what site can quote this to me. I am taking the ex back for a forth contempt and wanted to know if I can bring this up in court since the presiding judge is not doing alot about the fact that she fled the state and constantly causes interference with the little visitation I am receiving at this point as our divorce decree visitation guidelines were drafted based on the fact that she lived here in Georgia. Now she is 300 miles away. Any and all info would be helpful. Thank you
The way the law is written, I think it is unlikely that you will be able to get it enforced against a custodial parent. See 16-5-45, pages 22 and 23 of http://www.legis.state.ga.us/legis/GaCode/Title16.pdf
You will find many useful links for GA in http://www.deltabravo.net/custody/resources.htm and in TGB's Links, http://www.deltabravo.net/custody/tgblinks.htm
