Bm is dating a man that is not allowed around child (5 years old) becuase of a protective order (he is a conviceted drug dealer turned confidential  informant).  We are now going to trial to determine if this protective order stays in effect.


1.  What I need help with is, is do you  know of case law, research or the such that would display how dangerous drugs (GHB, ectasy) are to children?  

2.  Do you know where I could start looking to find research on confidential informants,perhaps how the life they lead can put others surrouding them in danger?

What is your opinion about putting kids in this type of situation?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

The question isn't how any confidential informant might put others in danger, but how THIS PARTICULAR informant might. You need to present facts about the dangers inherent in the informant's prior and present behavior.

Pbjection: calls for speculation. (lol) Need circumstantial facts to make a useful analysis.
