Well, call me stupid, but if it costs money, IT'S NOT FREE. Or did Websters redefine the word when I wasn't looking?

To be blunt, I'm sick of these infomercials. Your group seems to be antagonistic, intolerant, and not very interesting, while your site is haphazard, cheesy, and clumsy to navigate.

Finally, I don't appreciate your using SPARC to hawk your 'goods'. This site doesn't exist to serve as an advertising platform for people like you.

If you want to provide services for free, do it, but don't say they're "free" with a $25 charge. THAT'S NOT FREE.

I bow to you my humble one!!  You have gone where no man has gone before.

Brent, THANK YOU!!!  This guy, Eric, is a complete loser....I've had some run ins with him on another board...He's a woman hater and believes all women are "feminazi pigs".

Ugh...the guy is a moron.

Yup...:)  Me too!  My intentions for going there in the first place were to get some input from other divorced dads on my ex....just how to handle his inconsistent visits and such...WOW, was I EVER in for a surprise!  Some of them just tore me apart!

Others were ok though...some of them, I think, visit here too.  I'm just surprised that Eric would try to promote FIRM here though...have you read any of his posts???

Title: Come on ladies
Post by: Bolivar OH on Jul 23, 2004, 02:54:23 PM
DD is defiantly not a site for everyone.  I am a male who is a visitor in my son's life and pay huge sums of money for the privilege.  Let me try to explain with an analogy.  My neighbor gets in an accident and instantly is forced into a wheel chair for the rest of his life.  Yes, I can sympathize with his pain, BUT I really do not know what it is like to wake up everyday and live with this situation.

The same can be said for the anguish men have gone through when going through divorce.  A male experience is different, and one must go through it to REALLY know how it feels.  There is comradely in our experience.

As for the site being anti-woman welllllllllllllllllllllllll.  Perhaps just a little. Ok I lied.

There are NOT a lot of sites for just men.  Wait a second.......  Let me rephrase that.  There are not a lot of active sites for men.

And Kitty C. I have defended your honor may times when you post.  NOT that you need my help.  You know I greatly appreciate everything you have done for me.

Sweetnsad I think I remember your post.  Yea, you did get ripped.  But you stuck to your guns and I think, when all was said and done, you got some reasonable advice.

As for taking a beating I have been to CP sites posting.  And it is quite interesting to say the least.

Now my question.  What is more intense?
   1. A woman posting in DD.
    Or
   2. A man posting on singlemomz.

Oh, you know me, Bolivar!  And you know why I still go there, even tho they still try to chase me off.  I stay because I BELIEVE in it.  But the whackos will always be whackos.........

I'd say the intensity is equal.....but it probably depends on who's on the receiving end.  I can't compare how I feel about them lambasting me at DD any more than you could with singlemomz.......

At least it's nice to know that even some of the hard core guys over there are just as fed up with His Piggy Highness, LOL!

I believe "Eric" is the person who stated that father's rights activists murdering judges would be a "good thing". Sorry, I disagree.

Boliver, I totally agree with you that there aren't very many men's sites out there to call their own where they can vent....I had no idea when I went there, how hostile some of the men really were.  They were so burned by the women in their lives that they've actually taken to hating women altogether.  I feel bad for them, but not for guys like "Eric" who make it his life's mission to destroy women or "jaywjr" who believes women should live in cages and obey....yuk!
I've read some of your posts and you are one of the nice guys....and I remember you giving some great advice to others.  You were even nice to me!!  Hahaha!  Thank you....:)

I've read some of his posts here and on another board.  He usually pops in, stirs up some trouble, then leaves again for a while.  Anymore I usually just ignore his posts.

My brain is on the fritz at the moment.  What part of the state is Bolivar in?  I've heard of it.  I think I've even been there.  But heck I've been pretty much everywhere in Ohio.

Now I know why I know it.  I've been in the area with the football team before.  LOL  This year I hope we'll be back with my eldest playing on a state winning team :-)  *puffing what chest there is up with pride*

I'm about 45 minutes south of Toledo.

Ok 45min south of Toledo......... Findlay area?  That would be Hancock County.

Or perhaps Seneca County.

I have lived in Ohio my whole life.  I am not proud of my state by any means.  I have made the best of things.

Currently I am in Tuscarawas County and it's no picnic. We are the #1 in obesity, #1 in deer kill and I forget the others stuff. I would not be surprised if we are #1 in low school scores, unemployment, DUI's, .........

Remember, Ohio'ins leave the state when we retire. If you make it outside the boarders,, --- "God Bless".    However,, we are surrounded by Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Trust me; you need to make it past them also.

Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan are a nice place to vacation but their family laws are as bad as OHIOs.

Further west than that.  I'm in Defiance Co.  I'm originally from MO and I understand the laws there aren't any better so I might as well keep my butt right here in my little corner of the cornfields.
