Title: Forensic Evaluation Report
Post by: onedaddy on Oct 13, 2004, 01:15:39 PM
We are in NYS, the forensics evaluation report is in and as I understand the parties involved are not allowed to see or have copies of the report.

1) Do the lawyers have rights to show the report to any experts or the like without prior approval from the courts?

I don't know the specifics of NY law. However, I cannot believe that the parties are barred from reviewing the report, unless you agreed to this in advance. Maybe, you are not allowed to make a copy of the report, and you must review it only while in the court's possession.
