Dear Soc,
Jurisdiction is Howard County, MD. Final Divorce ruling signed on Dec 17. After a Motion to Amend was Denied, ex has given a Notice to Appeal.
Main difference between custody orders in the PL Order and the Final order are legal custody is changed to sole.
When a notice to appeal is given, does it delay implementing the custody orders given in the "Final" divorce ruling such that custody as specified in the PL order is maintained, or does custody as stated in the final decree begin until the appeal is heard and ruled on?
Thanks!

Final judgment is final while pending appeal unless the appellant obtains an order staying the judgment, either from the trial or appellate court.
