One other thing regarding tax benefits that is not mentioned in this petition...the custodial parent gets that money tax free! And, when applying for a loan or other type of credit they have the option of showing that "additional" income.  Now I ask you, if a credit card company or other financial institution considers child support as a form of income why the he$$ doesn't the IRS???
