Hi Soc~
In light of my recent move and wage change, I have been trying to calculate my child support obligation to be prepared for the X taking me back for more support.
However, the figures that I have been getting are totally confusing me. What it boils down to is, even tho my income has basically doubled, the calculations are showing my obligation to LOWER! I am aware that there is new legislation to take in effect in January, which is suppose to lower obligations, and wonder if this calculator is reflecting those changes.
The state is Pennsylvania. The calculator I am using is http://www.divorcelawinfo.com/PA/cal/PACSC.html
I have emailed my caseworker in Pa. to see if my figures are accurate and am awaiting an answer. I'm not sure what she will be able to tell me "off the record".
My question is, as I have been unable to find a link on this site...
1.) Do you have any links to child support calculators that I could check my figures?
