where I can find state laws pertaining to the family division. Like I want to look up their statue about the custodial parent relocating, and just other topics as well.

This site has all the law available on line for every jurisdiction, however, you will have to search the state of your choice for the family code (which may also be denominated, "domestic relations law" or "family law", etc.).
