I have a 3 year-old son, his father and i were never married, we broke up shortly after the baby turned a year old, and he hasn't been in either one of our lives since. I would like to go about getting full custody of my son, but don't know where to start. Your suggestions and advice will be greatly appreciated. Please help. :-)

Let me know more information. You may want to file a motion with the court. What county do you live in? Where is the Father? Can the Father be reached? I look forward to your response.
