Post by: indisbelief on Feb 04, 2005, 06:30:51 AM
I am looking for what experience others have had in Will County with visitation violations. How long did the process take and how many violations before the judge involked jail time etc. Your expereinces are appreciated.

I am just a few miles south of you. Had over 30 contempts and only one held. It must be the area we live in, nothing seems to work...

Are you in Will County? Where they visitation violation contempts? What kinds of hard "evidence" did you have in the one that did stick? Any advice based on your experience?

P.S. If you are in Will country....I seem to think the problem is that the population growth explosion is not being kept up with vis a vis the court systems....so there are only a few judges to hear these matters...hence the delay in cases. I am waiting 18 months already and the violations keep piling up!!!
