I have been looking for information about Emancipation, and whether it is true or false that you have to go through legal stuff to be emancipated if your 18 or older? I am 19 years old, and I still live with my parents. I am looking into moving out, but I was not sure if once you turn 18 you do not need to go through anything legal wise to be emancipated. If anyone could answer this for me, I would sincerely appreciate it.
