Title: Interesting Attorney strategy
Post by: lovebug on Feb 08, 2005, 09:15:01 AM
I am scheduled for a deposition this afternoon with Defense Counsel deposing me. My attorney has stated that she does not wish to depose the defendant because the defendant might be able to ascertain my attorney strategy and may make plans and be able to practice how to deal with my attorney while the defendant is on the witness stand. My attorney also stated that my deposition could give me an advantage in that I can become accustom to apposing counsel and learn his style and mannerisms. I thought this was interesting.

Any thoughts?

Be very vague how you answer those questions. Don't give away anything you plan to use in court to the point they will be able to lie and get away with it.

Do not run down the ex at all.

It's all about the child/children.
