UPDATE
On Friday March 4th I called the printers to find out more about when the ribbons are to be shipped. Apparently they had a little trouble with the color, and as a result there was a delay of a few days while the corrected the problem. The ribbons will be shipping on Monday to me via UPS and should arrive by Wednesday at which point I will envelop up the orders and ship them out ASAP. I've got all the envelopes, business cards and packing slips all printed and ready to go. I apologize to all for the delay, but I believe once you see how great these ribbons turned out they will have been well worth the wait.
I took Mysonsdad advice and will be including 10 printed business cards with a picture of the ribbons on them and the webpage address and my contact info on them. I figured if everyone that ordered a ribbon handed out all 10 I am including with their order then I'll be in Colorado by June not to mention there will be a TON of people out there with the ribbons on their cars spreading the word about family law reform.

The parents rights ribbons arrived today and they look amazing. I am very happy with them. The purple is bright and just POPS out at you. I am going to try to post a photos of the finished ribbons on my order website. Tonight I will be filling all the orders I have so that tomorrow morning I can take them down to the post office and ship them out. They should be to everyone in 7-10 business days MAX....depending on how the mail runs. Just thought I would let everyone know.
If you were putting off ordering a ribbon NOW is a very good time to order. I have 350 ribbons left to sell and will do a second run IF demand keeps up. Take advantage of my reduced shipping fees for larger orders if you like and give out ribbons to family and friends.
I have included 10 business cards containing a picture of the ribbons, the web address for ordering and my contact information in each envelop for people to hand out if they like. Feel free to make copies of these business cards if you like and hand them out to people who ask you "Where'd you get that beautiful ribbon?".

It took MOST of the night but all the orders and packaged and ready to go. I'll drop them in the mail tomorrow morning. Be on the lookout for a flourescent envelop in the mail in the next several days. I decided to put them in very bright envelops just in case they get "stuck" to anything metal along the way...they'll be easy to see.

I opened the bright orange envelope and raced to my van, only to find out the tailgate is made of fiberglass and it won't stick LOL!!! Once it warms up again, I'll just crazyglue it to the rear window so it looks more "unusual", stuck on the glass. I punched out the heart part and will glue it above the magnet, just to set it off a little more. For now, it's proudly displayed under my side window, where "our" son sits when he's with me. ;)

I could not wait to put them on my car, giving one to another father who is having a time of it. And another to my group moderator.
I would say your sales should pickup after getting these on the streets for all to see.

As for the ribbons being taken off your car, I have had 6 on my truck for the last week, no problems so far, but you can never be too careful.
Also I have noticed that due to the way the ribbons were produced you may notice that after the first rain your ribbons experience it will look as though some of the white boarder of the ribbon wash off and onto the car. This is NOT the ribbons color washing away. It is actually the excess UV coating coming off from the unprinted side of the magnet. This stuff washes right off with soap and water. thought I would let every one know this just in case. when I first saw it happen on mine I freaked, but after I called the printers and found out what it was it was ok.
Lastly I wanted to let you all know that the sales are picking up greatly. I have sold 126 ribbons in the last 2 days and have less then 200 ribbons left in this first run. Don't worry, I will be doing a second run and God willing a third and fourth too...hehe. I jsut wanted to thank you all so much for being so awesome and for all the support. I would never have been able to do this wihtout your input and help.

I bought 20. I am passing them out to the "Yes I understand your concern Bolivar" and "Yes I will put it on my car."
I am hoping that every little bit helps. Perhaps a Judge will be behind one of the cars and read the ribbon. Who knows? I know at stop lights I read the ribbons/bumper stickers on the cars in front of me.

If I were rich I thought it would be SO cool to just walk through parking lots all over town and just slap a ribbon on every car I could. I would bet most people would leave them on. hehe
