Title: My Ex is lying to the judge! What do I do?
Post by: shaney303 on Mar 02, 2009, 07:12:03 PM
My Ex has been lying about the amount of money she recieves from the state for our son.  She also lied while in court and told the judge that she was paying her mother $500 a month for child care.  Her mother has not taken care of him in a year and a half.  She is also refusing to pay half of our son's medical bills.  I pay for all of the insurance, so it is always in my name.  I recently found out that she has not paid any of the bills, and did not tell me there were outstanding bills.
I am now having to pay off thousands of dollars that have hit my credit.  She keeps telling me there is nothing I can do about it.  What do i do?  I can't barely afford to live now...

Well, if she's paying her mother, her mother is supposed to be reporting it as income on her taxes, right?  Request proof of payment.

If she's receiving money from the state, that should be easily verifiable.

I don't have much experience in this but I'm sure there's someone here that could help.
