Okay. No offense if you're from PIKE CO and especially if you are from Matamoras, but you people (and your courts) are pretty "squirely".
Tom filed papers to tak Jenn back to court since she has flat out refused him any holiday visitation. So, we get a call this past Friday from some mediator of the Pike Co. court asking why he isn't at the 9:30 am conference that was scheduled.!?
DUH! We never got any paperwork. So, we call his attorney who says he also got no paperwork. Call the "mediator" back and he tells us that the lawyer wouldn't get any paperwork since he is a mediator and they send everything direct to the parties.
Now, does that make ANY sense? AND, Tom does not want to go to "mediation" since he gave Jenn her chance in the counseling session to "mediate" and discuss a schedule. So why now are we suddenly going to mediate with her when we filed papers because we already tried that and SHE REFUSED?
If anyone is familiar with this county court system, please give me your take on the system and how it works? Thanks!
