Title: 20 days to file
Post by: Ref on Apr 20, 2005, 01:02:22 PM
DH was served with modification of child support papers. The document that was delivered said that he has 20 days to answer.

1. Is that business days or regular days?

Thanks

"You should file the original with the clerk of the court in the county where the case was filed and keep a copy for your records. This must be done within 20 days of receiving the supplemental petition."

Thanks

I would read that to mean no later than the end of the 20th calander day -- counting day #1 as the day after you were served.
