The "woo-hooo" wasn't for the fact that children are hurt.  It is for the fact that a judge won't let you lie a play games when it comes to the children.  As for you....you disagree with what someone has to say and attack with "too bad for your children?"...Lovingmom...now that's an oxymoron....emphasis on the moron.

Seems as though you are confusing what dad did to mom......as far as I'm concerned, mom hurt the kids more by lying and exposing THEM to the media, not exposing her case to the media

The children are crying and screaming because their mother put them through this publicly.....USED her children to gain the upper hand in her own "battle" and LIED about something that could have ruined lives....Judge thinks this is bullshit and sets an example......maybe preventing others from pulling these stunts...so as SallyandJack would say"woooohoooo"

Custody Issues / Careful...

Be careful...my ex tried this trick when we went at it the first round.....The GAL report went in my favor so she back-pedaled..agreed on joint physical and legal custody, no child suport either way with the only thing that was to be decided was where he went to school when he turned 5.  Well, she tried all the same stuff: sole physical custody, leave the state, boat loads of child support......the same shit that I just spend 20k on she wants to do it all over again.  Luckily, she lost.  My point is, don't settle for less than what you want, and always wait for the other shoe to drop.  I know it is a sucky way to view things, but ask anyone on this board..."just when you think it couldn;t get any worse..."

I would say that for the sake of the children...you must find a way to get them in a stable environment.  I don't know how to get around the financial piece other than pro se.  There are many people on the board who have done this and won.  Tap them for info, but ALWAYS do what is best for the children...walk through fire if you must..it is worth it in the long run.

On a different note, if you do end up winning, expect one royally pissed off bitch!  I know...I won, and boy is she STILL pissed (5 years later). She has taken me to court 4 times since the original custody trial to get the whole thing opened back up again because somehow she feels she got screwed. Anytime there is a hiccup in my boy's life she regards that as a "change of circumstance" . Luckily, the judge hasn't bought any of it.  Keep us posted on the outcome...

She may threaten appeals, but they are awfully expensive.  I wish you all the luck in the world.  It sometimes can be a slow, painful process..but it is worth it.

I guess you are entitled to your opinion, but I have found that most, if not all of Bren't posts, refer to a news article or something similar that are truly bashing men.  I have gone back to see what could be considered vile or sick and have come up with nothing that is gender-bashing.  Feminazi bashing, now that's another story. The majority of most people on this board are men, and in a custodial world full of women I find it refreshing to see someone defend things that are unjust from the perspective of a man (or non-custodial parent).  To say that I am insensitive to issues of a feminist is also a joke...I married one.  Oh, and I'm also a custodial parent.
