how does a judge decide supervised visits for out of state families esp when they are special needs. the distance is over 564.03 miles

we have been doing emails twice a week and webcam/im chat twice a week for 1-3 hrs ontop of that i made websites for her with updates and pictures where she can comment.

Visitation Issues / RE: Out of state visitation

how long the visits are were left up to us, we normally did 1-2 hrs and did a visit every other week back in the begining but she has not had a visit with them for a yr now cause she had moved to fl and now she is back in va and we are in ky. she is taking us back to court to set the schedule more strictly and to try and get unsupervised. she has supervised cause they were taken from her by social services and founded of abuse on one and the threat on the other two, she pleaded no context and we got sole legal and physical. I was just wondering what are chances were of getting visits up here or if we have to go down there doing like a once a month thing at a center, i found centers in va and ky. We are talking about a 9 hr drive to and back just for an 1-2 hr visit in her state. our boys are special needs and also recieve services down here.

Visitation Issues / Out of state visitation

How would supervised visits out of state work? We are about 9 hrs away from BM and she only has supervised visits. How likely are they to allow us to have them up here in our state or are they more likely to have them in hers? Jurisdiction is still in her state until 6 months. But we don't really go to that state unless for court. All there schooling and special needs services are down here in our state.

Visitation Issues / Visitation and Moving
Jan 23, 2007, 10:17:54 PM
I have a question. We have sole legal and physical custody of our boys. The BM had only supervised visitation on weekends for time and place we wanted it at. Well right literally after we got full custody of the boys she moved out of state from va to fl. Did that make our agreement for visitation null?? Since she moved? She has not had much contact with them since she moved in march, a few letters and two packages is all within 10months. I have heard now that she is back in va, she has not contacted us personally, but if she wants to see the kids do we have to let her?Our boys have finally gotten their life together and made some peace and alot of progress. She is the one that moved and left them and did not remain in contact. I still sent her emails letting her know how they were and pics. A little background info, our boys were taken from her by ss and placed into foster care until we faught to get them(3yrs of battling and proving ourselves)She walked away with just strict visitation and a protective order statting not to come near the kids at our home or school and while supervised visits, no abuse. Can she make trouble for us even if she is just visiting up here? What if she moves back? Does our agreement become full again?? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. God Bless
