I bought plywood sheets and red caution tape.  We'll see what she comes up with next.

I'm pretty mad that I would even think about punching her out, but the frustration builds up as you know.  While I was at the hardware store, I picked up some more plants.  Of course she ran right out squawking on her cordless phone.  Then she got in her car and came back with...plants!  This is the same nutjob who told me that "we" were going to change venue, and take my ex back to court and double my child support.  That's when I quit talking to her.  Unfortunately she will not be ignored.  Around that time I realized that she was the one who had been calling the police on me the whole time she was playing at being a friend.  Bah!

It's almost impossible to get a restraining order against a neighbor.  It wouldn't be enforceable, I'm thinking.  I've been told to file harassment charges against my neighbor, but I'd rather just move.

I'm just trying to ignore her as much as possible.  I really don't want to end up in jail :/

I've been up for a couple of hours.  The neighbor from hell called the cops on us yet again....this time because my son and his friends got bored and decided to dig a "bunker" out in the backyard.  Finally, he's doing something normal!

The cops are cool, because she's called them on us for like 100 times in the last 3 years.  I can't fix the fence because the asshole for a lawyer won't let me.  I guess he feels that might cut into his profits.  However, the cops do need to show up., because it's their job.  The fence is rotten and falling down. It's been that way for 15 plus years.  Our backyard has an alley access, and my son informed me that the "block captain"(you're next, you witch)has been cruising down that alley checking out our backyard.  Word on the street is that she's friends with pyschotica.

Hey everybody, I've had it with that neighbor.  I can't even work in my front flower garden without her running out and picking miniscule weeds...always watching.  I bought some plants.....she hops in her car and buys plants, and sits there fussing over them while she's watching us.

My question is....how many months in jail will I get for dropkicking her wrinkled ugly rear end in the middle of the street?  Maybe I should pose this question to socrateaser....

This next installment will deal with how I got screwed by Los Angeles County MediCal....3k and counting.

I don't think it was so much as not doing their homework, as that they probably got conned.

Can the employees set up their own union?  I don't know how that stuff works, but why not?  I've never heard of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way.  Madrone's dad was the head of a union.  Maybe she knows if it can be done.

I thought when someone with cerebal palsy, or other conditions, received home nurses to check up on them?  What's up with all those other kids in the home?

One of my cousins has Autism, and until they could no longer care for him at home, my aunt and uncle had help.

Back to the story, if that boy wouldn't eat, it was the mother's responsibility to seek care.

That sounds like a typical day :/

Adding to it:

You decide to do some yardwork.  None of the garden hand tools are where they are supposed to be.  One hour spent rounding up tools.

You clean out the flower beds, now it's time to edge and mow.  The Weed Wacker is out of line.  Get in car and go to hardware store to purchase more line.  Another hour, due to insane traffic.

Get home and forget exactly how to restring the damn thing.  Approximately 45 minutes spent properly winding the line around the little spindle.

Stop edging every three minutes, and manually pull out the string.  The whole time, the neighbor from hell is across the street yapping like a shu itsu on crack.  As I pull out the line for the umpteeth time, I wish that she would get hit by lightning and just shut the #%#$%^ up.  At the same time, the 80 yr old neighbor next door comes out her front door and gets into her car.  Whoops.  She heard the whole thing :-(

Finally get it done.  Now it's time to mow.  Haven't used a mower in years.  Get son to start it for me.  Unfortunately it keeps dying.  Press little red button and flood the thing.  Son is po'd.  Sounds like his dad.  Start raking up  the grass(weeds actually)that I managed to mow, waiting to see if I permanently killed the lawnmower.

After several times of restarting the lawnmower(it hates me), we said to hell with it.  My son turns out to have severe allergies, which might be the cause of some of his health problems.  That's why I decided to mow.  If only I had enough sh*t in my britches to pull that stupid thing to get it to start, I wouldn't have let him outside period.

My son in law said he'd finish the yard.  The flower garden looks pretty good, though.

This scenario repeats itself when cleaning, mending, doing homework, or just getting the heck out the door.

Happy peaceful weekend, everybody!

I can see your point about not wanting to appear to roll over.  It would set a precedent for future negotiations.  Not too many people were sympathetic towards this strike.  However in the future, should the grocery stores try and rape their employees, they will lose quite a bit of money.  There are independent grocery stores, Big Lots, and the 99 cent store.  I shop at all those anyway, but I would make an effort not to set foot into any chain that is on strike.  I'm already disgusted by the price of groceries down here.

Years ago, unions were needed to protect workers from unscrupulous employers.  We still have the bad apples, but now many of the unions are corrupt as well.  I can imagine that it's a tough spot to be in.  How come your husband's fellow employees get rid of that union?

ROTF!  Brent, we've had Ruth's number for years!  Impartial?  Her?  Hahahaha!

Though Ginsburg was well-known as a lawyer for her support of women's rights, Hofstra University law Professor Monroe Freedman said she should have severed her public ties with advocates for women's issues when she was elevated to the Supreme Court by President Clinton in 1993.

Why do you think Ginsburg was appointed in the first place?  Clinton's legacy is nothing more than a communicable disease....
