Stop the Presses!!! PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY - Mark Griebel emailed me the message below and I urge each of you to help make, not only history, but THE FUTURE!

Let's not stop till Iowa's Governor Tom Vilsack signs this into law!

Please, ALL of you, call, email or write Iowa's governor and let him
know the ENTIRE NATION is watching this.

If you're outside the USA, do the same and let him know the ENTIRE
WORLD is watching and expecting his signature!

Robert Lisk

Congratulations!!!!!!!!

HF22 passed the Iowa Senate last night with all Senators voting
unanimously and one absent, thats right 49 YES and 0 NO. Your efforts
made this happen and all of you deserve credit for this victory. With
such a strong vote in favor of HF22 should place more pressure on the
Governor to sign. Two years ago he vetoed HF678 in addition there was
a party line vote in the Senate that helped weaken that bill. Today's
vote is proof to all of you that the Iowa legislators are listening
to you.

Our next and final step is to focus on Governor Vilsack. We need to
be polite and encouraging. Ask the Governor to sign the bill and tell
him in your words why this bill is important to you and your
children. Try to keep it short and sweet. Continue to write, e-mail,
and call the governor as often as you can. Now is the time to ask
your family and friends to help out. The Governor has one month to
consider his options so we can't let up. THIS IS A VICTORY FOR OUR
KIDS!

Sincerely,

Mark Griebel

Write Governor Tom Vilsack and urge him to support and sign HF22 into law.

This bill would allow judges to presume joint phyisical care in the same manner as joint legal custody is currently decided.

If you're in the Santa Cruz/Capitola area, Please respond offsite ASAP. I can receive email thru the SPARC system and would sure appreciate a response.

I'd rather not clutter up the boards with this matter. I'm in another state.
Thanks!

Couldn't we all write a book, then go for the feature film or at least a mini-series!? lol... that very joke has been one of the things keeping me going despite whatever new wacko thing my PBFH tries.

Try this link for starters, everything on it is free, but I can't currently connect with the rsalsbury site to check out the free word processor.  The online encylopedia is very helpful with tech terms and if you should decide to try and get something published. They also have a paid service which offers more.

Also //www.wordsmith.org is a fun site with some useful and useless stuff. The anagram server is fun to play around with...  SPARC re-aranged is CARPS SCRAP, SCARP and CRAPS lol!!!! Sorry administrators, couldn't help it! More of a description of life without ones kiddos at times. Theres another anagram thing at //www.anagramgenius.com

And of course, don't forget the legal dictionary right here on good 'ol Carps, er, I mean SPARC...lol! It is an EXCELLENT resource!  They call it a "page" but it's more like an encyclopedia.

That's precisely why each and every one of us must join the campaign for change...

jilly (rhymes with silly, I suppose) I wasn't asking for your opinions (like an a$$hole, everyone has one) on politics and Father's (Non-Custodial parents) Rights, which apparently you don't give a rats a$$ about. Please stay on topic or just go away.

>ROFLMBO@John Edwards!!! I'm from North Carolina and this is
>one vote he won't be getting! LOL  Plus, he made his millions
>from medical malpractice cases. I don't see him giving a rat's
>a$$ about Father's Rights or what's best for our children.
>LOL
>Thanks for giving me a good belly laugh for the day!!

Just looking for feedback, this seems like an excellent idea, a class action suit, against the states, in federal court for equal custody...

They seem to have considerable support as someone in nearly every state has signed on to this, but being the natural skeptic I am at times, could this be too good to be true, or does it have the potential to be a dream come true?

The multi-state filing is scheduled for this coming Friday, Sept 17th and I jumped on the bandwagon and applied for and got appointed as my state's coordinator. (Ask and ye shall receive, eh? lol) Already I'm wondering if I'm in over my head or can somehow follow thru with this.

I've been told the only cost is a $150. filing fee, (which could be waived) the Indiana group is asking nothing, other than being the person to physically file the paperwork.  Since the Federal district courthouse is just a few minutes from my home, I figured why not... maybe it's just butterflies in my stomach, but I sure would appreciate some feedback from anyone here about this. Thanks!
