I would be interested in hearing more about what you refer to.  I am not surprised they are help unaccountable, however, in my situation our case manager was wonderful.  We couldn't have been more pleased, although it took quite a while for her to figure out "exactly what the truth was" so to speak.

Email me if you want...nosonew

WOW... going thru something VERY similar.

Our bb quit a job after 15 years citing "health issues" requested a decrease in CS... DH and I both felt she was intentionally underemployed and hired a really good atty.

The court date has been changed 3 times because THEY can't get info requested by our atty in a timely manner.

I can NOT believe your atty went to court without having the paperwork PRIOR to court.

BB's atty wanted to do it that way, and our atty refused. NO COURT until he has the paperwork in hand for at least 10 days PRE court...

OUr case is getting very interesting... but this forum is too public for me to post specifics!

Hope it all works out for you!!!

Depends on the situation. Hope it all works out. I would say minimum 2 months IF he has a job where it can be garnished and IF paternity has already been established.

The reduction (cut in half of regular c.s.) was done. We were just waiting on paperwork to send to atty for the garnishment order. THEN she requested they decrease her income amount due to "rental expenses"... No, she did not have any rental income added for total income to determine cs. She is just trying to get out of her obligations. DH paid her 81,000 in cs over 14 years, not including medical (excess of 10,000), attorney fees (excess 20,000), costs of mediation, counseling, etc... (excess of 10,000)... and she doesn't want to pay 200 a month! ARGH!!!

They are refiguring her CS reduction due to her change in jobs right now. I emailed our case mgr who is doing this requesting all financial documents, rental contracts, copies of cancelled checks for mortgage, insurance payments, taxes, etc., be sent to our attorney. Also requested cancelled check info from renters from present back 12 months.

I also sent her all of the addresses of the rental properties she owns, along with the info we have regarding mortgage info (a little detective work there) and hopefully case mgr will catch her in additional lies and perhaps impute income from rentals rather than deduct.

I agree... if my DH had quit his job and took a lower paying job, they would impute his income at "potential to earn" rather than realistic figures.

So discriminatory against men... I already tried that arguement and lost because I couldn't PROVE WHY she changed jobs and nobody is making her prove her claims she needed "less stress in her life".

After many years of false allegations and contempts... DH is CP FINALLY... we are about to start our 3rd year! YIPPEE...

Problem: BB quit or was fired from her 45,000/yr job and now works at a convenience store.

Her CS obligation was cut in half.

She now wants it lowered more due to "expenses due to rental properties" stating she has a "loss of income" because of this side business.

Doesn't she have to show mortgage, tax, insurance costs? Copies of rental contracts and cancelled checks? How to prove these "expenses/losses" were actually used for those rental properties?

What can we do to get this info?

BB buys a home, lives in it, fixes it up (takes 12-24 months) then buys another fixer-upper and moves, renting out the home she lived in.

HELP!!!!

BB is now NCP... FINALLY! (almost 2 years now!)

She has worked for 20 years in same field..makes good $$

We were just notified she is now working at a Kwik Shop. We think she will blame it on  "medical reasons"... WHICH SHE REFUSES TO TELL US ABOUT EXCEPT TO SAY A NEW MED MADE HER SLEEPY!!!!

THoughts? Suggestions?

HELP!!!!!!!!
