BM had every other weekend.  The first visit SD went on she came home all upset because BM gave her room and her toys to her younger sister and told SD that since she lived with DH she didn't need either anymore.  Needless to say we had one messed up toddler on our hands.

A year later she stopped seeing SD all together.  Fast forward to 2003 and SD saw BM because her older half-sister was hit by a car riding her bike and died.  SD hadn't seen her in years and had no real memories of her.  SD is very angry at BM and so are SD's other half-siblings.

SD is now 14yo and we don't track BM down for SD to see her but to see her half siblings.  BM has no contact with SD unless we push it.

We have moved 3 times in 11 years.  Once from an apartment to my DH's family home when his grandfather was too old to deal with it, into my parents while we looked for a house to buy and into our new home.  I have lost track of how many moves BM has made.  It is sad.  She has lost 2 children and she doesn't even seem to be bothered by it.

I hope your ex wakes up before it is too late.

Service that matches nannies from other countries.  Most is for room and board, use of a car and a set salary.  Time off is a must.

I live in NY and used to hang out with a lot of nannies from other countries.  I know that they do the checks and help you find one.

Custody Issues / Just some ideas for you.....

I too live in NY but my DH has had custody since 1999.  His Ex had a girlfriend that she bragged to him about but has since gone back to men.  Anyway you might want to go to your local library or law library and look up cases that way.  Or do an internet search for it.  The only other option you may have is to take it back to court and make sure you have it documented how much time he spends with you.

SD was pre-school age at the time (so 4 or 5) BM had signed over custody to DH and was ticked about something.  I had 2 CPS workers show up (a senior case worker and a senior investigator) DH was at work, SD was at pre-school (she was going through our school district as a pre-schooler with emotional/social issues and was in school with a social worker on staff)  CPS didn't know about our son who was under a year old at the time.  They left with enough to hang BM on their own.

Next visit SD comes home with a bruise on her face.  BM's boyfriend's ex called me up and told me that BM hit her in the face at a party.  We called the CPS case worker and they talked to SD.  They then called BM in and asked her if SD ever lied.  Bm thinking they had something on DH said NO and sank her own butt.

In the end the case was closed, CPS was back in BM's house for another trip.  She stopped seeing SD after that too.  Sadly, it cost SD a relationship with her older sister that she will never have because she was killed riding her bike in 2003 because BM was too lazy to go to the store herself and let an 11 yo cross a busy county road.  Needless to say CPS was back in the house again.

Last time we heard from BM she was living in her car with her 3 other kids and the 2 guys who are the kids fathers.  She blew threw the settlement she got for her oldest childs death in less than 2 months.  Not that it was a lot but still.  New toys or a place to live.  Gee I think I would pick the place to live.

Father's Issues / It wasn't us being served.....

It was the mother of the other girl that was molested by this man.  SHe is still seeing him and told many people including CPS and the police that she knew about the abuse and didn't think it was a big deal.  Her and this guy own the house together.  I think they want to make sure that he isn't there and the house is clean and animal smell and stuff free.

IT is a bad situation all the way around.  Thanks for the help.

Father's Issues / I found it. Thank you.

I guess when I looked the other day that the new updated law hadn't been listed yet.

Our attny hadn't heard of it either.  CPS isn't investigating us it is the girlfriend of the slimeball that they are after.

Apparently she is blocking access to the child and home.  Probably at her attny's advice but then they need to talk to the attny.  She needs some serious help.  She is 45.  He is 34.  Her oldest child is 21 with a child of her own.

I was asking because I had never heard of CPS being able to do this before.  It goes against everything we are told when false allegations are made against us.

Apparently as of this month NY has a new law that gives CPS the right to petetion the court for the right to walk into your house if you are under investigation and withholding access of Child/ren, residence and a few other things.

I was also asking because we are good friends with GF oldest BD boyfriend and he was asking about what it meant for their child to be in that house.  We told him not to let her go there even though it is her grandmother, great grandmother and aunts and uncle.  They live almost across the street from each other.

As for Slime Ball.  I agree with everything you said.  We have decided that he isn't worth losing our lives over.  Now if someone were to take him out we wouldn't get upset.

Thanks for the help.

is that an ex friend (aka SlimeBall) of ours sexual molested my SD... Charges have been brought and he has been arrainged.  Waiting on DA because the date that SD gave the sex abuse unit was wrong and he can prove he wasn't in our house or around her during the time stated.  This all came out because his girlfriends daughter reported him for abusing her too.

Since they happen in 2 different towns they are 2 seperate cases at this point.

The GF is still seeing him and doesn't back her daughter in anyway.  There are 7 people, 3 dogs, ferrets, a bird, a rabbit and numerous cats living in a 3/4 bedroom house owned by GF and slime ball with her ex FIL holding the mortage.  GF told the police, her attny, CPS, and someone else that her daughter told her about the abuse but she did nothing about it.

The child is 13, severe asthma, migraines, and a seizure disorder.  CPS has been involved since she told her DARE officer of the abuse at school because mom did nothing about it.

It is a bad situation all the way around for this child.  She has no support or backing in her home about the abuse she suffered.  Her mother is backing the abuser.  Her sister and Bio Dad are trying to help but the mother blocks all attempts.  the Dad has stayed away to make the kids lives easier but mom made up all kinds of lies about him and they are unraveling now too.

As for SlimeBall he is suspended from the post office without pay where he was a city letter carrier.  He was thrown out of the local fire company and ambulance corp where he volunteered.  Has 2 cases pending if not more.

Hope this helps clear it up for you.

Services is and why they would go to court for one?????  I am in NY.  They also served the child's father to take custody when the time comes.

I have never heard of this before.  Any help appreciated.  Thanks.
