I am crossing my fingers that the schedule is written in stone for you so you won't have too much trouble.
Some schools do things for halloween. Maybe there is a parade or something you can attend (or a party in the classroom). Our school changed to "Fall Harvest" and we do things around fall (pumpkins). See what they are doing and maybe offer to get small pumpkins for the class?
What two airports do you need to fly in/out of? I will keep my eye on prices. I get southwest and spiritair e-mails with specials.

They kids do not have any long weekend that you can get them? (Thanksgiving? Long 3 day weekends?)
They did not say anything about BM paying for airfare or meeting you half way? Can they fly?
Will Christmas be spelled out with exact dates?

You can get the video camera for the computer and see them too!
Get the school name and get involved with their teachers. Maybe you can go to a few school things throughout the year? They are further away but you can keep a good relationship! I am sure the others on this board can help with ideas too!

I would find a lawyer that will fight for you. Yes, I would fight for full custody now. You have some proof now. Do you have hospital records from when she was in there? (and the discharge paper that states she should still be going to XXX). Right now it sounds like you already have 50/50 so you are in a good place now to file.

I agree but the Principal is not breaking the law here. There are no official forms the first week of school. If he wants copies of the emergency cards that would be all for right now. He had some great teachers that communicated by e-mail in the past but not all will do that. In our school, I think there is about 5 of us that have a web page and e-mail. The rest of the teachers must return phone calls but every week is a little much unless there are problems.

I would call the school and ask for your children's teachers to give you a call. Do you speak to the kids on the phone where you can ask them the names of their teacher? At my school, we have to call parents back within 24 hours. Legally though, they only have to send you the report card and what is in their perm folder. Most teachers if you give them stamped envelopes, they will send you any info (school pictures....). Some teachers in my building do not use e-mail so they may have a teacher that does not do that.

I am glad that they are back here. Did the other dad figure out the visitation for his child if they move? It really should not have an effect on your court date since you are proving that mom is not moving for a high paying job. I will have my fingers crossed!!!

I do not recall your story but....
Can't you would file for supervised visits based on that she has not been around and then this last episode. I would not allow her to take them for now unless you are there. If the kids are not in counseling, they should start. This past incident will get documented and they can help you with future visits.
