Father's Issues / Way to go, wendl!!!!!!!!!

She just couldn't believe you'd do that, did she?  Some people just don't get it.  Because they can't look inside themselves and see that the MAJORITY of the problem is with THEM.

I'm glad you did it YOUR way.  I hear SO many times about people who get married and are worried about inviting whomever because they're afraid of what someone else may do.  I ALWAYS tell them to do EXACTLY what THEY want, it's THEY'RE day!  If someone can't ahndle that, they can just leave.  And if they ain't mature enough to deal with it, you don't need them there in the first place.

Your SM sounds like a wonderful person, equal to DS's SM.  Ain't it great to have such an example to follow?

Not just because I am one, either.  DS has a step-mother who is worth her weight in gold.  She just called me a week ago and told me she wanted to do something for DS.  His dad had money for DS in a money market account, but SM didn't like the returns.  BTW, this lady is a MAGICIAN with numbers and taxes.  So she wanted to send me paperwork on moving the money into an investment account she researched, since they need my permission as legal guardian to do it.  THEN she told me that she was going to invest $2500 into it as well!  BLEW me away!

Then DS just got a Christmas card in the mail from her, with $40 in it!  PLUS, she wrote a note that said a package was on the way, too!  This lady is TOO much!

I LOVE her for loving my son as much as she does.  I truely believe that if anything were to happen to her, it would devastate me as much as DS's dad passing.  DS even asked me, shortly after his dad died, what would happen if SM died.  I PROMISED him that he would be there, if I had anything to do with it, and would go with him if he wanted me to.  And I would want to, too.  It's the least I could do to commemorate someone who gave SO much to my son..........

What good is 'forever' when it's so f***ed up?  What good is a lifetime of pain, stress, and torment, living with the baggage of crap heaped on this child who has to deal with it for the rest of their lives?  What good is forever when there's NO way this child can possibly ever learn what a GOOD relationship can be like?

Sorry, my cynicism is peeking again.........

......that I had a boy and not a girl.  Cuz if I did, we'd be at all out war about now, intotal disagreement over what she could and couldn't wear.  I think it's utterly disgusting and canNOT believe that some parents even buy this crap for their girls.  Sounds like some parents need to get a backbone and put their foot down about how their girls dress......

'I am appalled at your complete and utter insensitivity by producing a t-shirt with the inscription of "Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them".   Do any of you have kids and do they go to school??  Have you heard about the violence and bullying in school, or do you ALL have your heads in the sand?

That you can't 'see anything wrong' with this shirt says a lot for your lack of intelligence.  We've been fighting a constant battle of teaching our children to NOT hate and fight, then some idiots like you come up with something like this.

I abhor bullying and teasing and always have.  I was the target of such when I was in school 25+ years ago.  There have been kids who have committed suicide after being subjected and harrassed by what you imply. And I'd be lying if I said the thought never crossed my mind as well.  Kids have it hard enough these days, without idiots like you comeing up with crap like this.

This is NOT a joke.  And don't think that kids wearing it think it is, either.  What they WILL think is funny is watching the poor kids running from them and dodging the rocks they're throwing.  Is THAT the lesson you're trying to teach here?  Because if it is, may God have mercy on your soul..........'

Idiots like this want to make me puke.........

That way the ONLY numbers she can call are ones you designate, so the PBFH can't use it for her own use.......

Yes, the kids have been found.  The grandparents have CO'd custody.  The reason for imminent danger?  Read what the kids were wearing at the time of abduction and what kind of illnesses/meds they have.  Then understand that this abduction happened at approx. 7:30 in the evening, with temps. in the teens and wind chill factors below zero and about 6-8 inches of snow on the ground.

As for the parents, I haven't heard the whole story on that, but note that the alert mentions:  'A court order state that the children are in imminent danger.'
