I want to know my chances of getting custody of my son from the mother with paranoid schizophrenia.  She has been hospitalized twice in the last 10 years.  The first time she was catatonic and suicidal.  Her medical records says she has said she has thought of suicide in the past and in her journals.  She doesnt take her meds regularly and cannot hold a job and cannot make decisions on her own.  She told the dr if she heard voices again she would never tell any one cause she didnt want to be locked up again.  she has been caught with drugs many times by me.  And drinks alot evry day.  Well  this is the person that has my son.  Its scary.  What do I do.  He deserves better.  Her mother died in a menatl hospital where she spent 25 years and her uncle is in one now.  They had the same illness.
