I have been looking for a couple weeks now to find a good lawyer in California, But my search is not producing much of anthing.  I have for over 5 years been in court, and spend too much money on lawyers that are just mindless zombies following the crowd, trying to be a part of the good ol boys...    any help would be greatly apperaticated... thank you for your time and have a great day!!!

stanislaus county, is where I live, but So far all that I have talk to and seen in court, and used are not very good.  I am very disappointed with what i have seen for over 5 years.  there must be someone out there that is concerned about the law and not about upsetting his/her buddies....     thank you for your time and your help...

American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, it's an elite group of lawyers, accredited by the peers, very difficult to get into.  They also have to take an exam to be admitted.

The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers is an organization of the nation's top matrimonial attorneys from 47 states who specialize in all issues related to marriage, divorce, annulment, custody, child visitation, property valuation, property distribution, alimony, and child support.

The Academy was founded in 1962 "to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards and advance the cause of matrimonial law to the end that the welfare of the family and society be preserved."

The Academy currently has chapters in 24 states which conduct local continuing education programs, participate in the legislative process and engage in a variety of other activities to serve the public and to improve the practice of matrimonial law.
