More visitation time with daughters

How does a father of two daughters, going through a divorce, get more visitation time?  The last court order stated that I only see my daughters every other weekend.  Is that usual for fathers fighting for more visitation time?  I was seeing my daughters almost every day, and had them one night during the weekend, as agreed upon between my ex and I.  Now that this court order came out, she will not let me see them during the week.  What can I do?

Since it is a new order, you are going to have to show a change in circumstance to file for a modification and  have the order changed.  You should not have agreed to less time than what you were seeing the children.  Once it is ordered, especially a brand new order, the courts do not like to change orders.   Your ex does not need to let you see the children more than what was ordered.
