HI Socrateaser!

The Court Order states "Expenses not covered by health insurance for the children will be paid 75% by petitioner and 25% by respondent."

1.Does that mean you ask for reimbursement after you get the medical bill?

2. Can we have the Dr's send us the bill with the part we are required to pay directly to us?
Thanks

The order simply apportions the legal obligations of the party. If you get a bill, then you pay it and send a copy to the other party and ask for reimbursement. If they refuse, then you file for contempt.

You may ask the doctor to cooperate and you could write a joint letter with the other parent, or both of you could write letters to the physician, requesting that his billing person send you both a copy of the bill whenever services are rendered.

Some doctors will cooperate with you -- some won't. Can't hurt to ask.
