"I get knocked down but I get up again, they're never gonna keep me down....."
I got out yesterday but must go to rehab for a couple of weeks.  On the good side, the problem doesn't seem to be in the kidney or liver. On the bad side, it seems to be in my spine. Doc thinks a couple of weeks of intense rehab will help, so I will go.
While there are moments when the oblivion of pain meds are welcomed, I sure don't want to live like that, if I can help it. Thanks for all the prayers & good wishes. Please keep them coming.
I don't know if they will let me take my laptop with but if they do, I will keep you posted. If not, gr8Dad will update for me.
Love & hugs to all.

Thanks for the update, msme.  Did they do an MRI?  Thank God it's not your kidneys, and once again prayers for a speedy recovery.

Nice to see ya back.

I hope your rehab corrects the pain problem.

I have a problem with my neck.  It can get very stiff and my fingers go numb.  I did the MRI thing and nothing was found.  And I know about the pain pill CRAP.  They took away the pain but made be a space cadet.

So I went to a chiropractor and got regular massages.  With regular stretching, exercise and massages the problem does not affect my life.  It's been over 10 years now and I feel great.

And take care, msme!

I go tomorrow. Been having tremors but now they are full body. Rehab intake said they may screen for Parkinsons. Had 5 different CAT scans & 2 MRIs, while in the hospital. Only showed that all bones in back in bad shape &  some spurs. What a mess.

Please keep the prayers coming. Oh yeah, they said I can have my laptop there. Hurray. Thanks for all the prayers & good wishes. This sure is scarey.

Love & hugs to all

LOL
You can update us on Hospital life. :-)

You know, give us all the gross details of what is going on.

Seriously, I pray that everything works out for ya.

As for the scared part I know how you feel.  Personally, when my arm went numb I thought ....... Well..... My words would be . I heard all kinds of horror stories about what my problem might be.  I thought would be in pain the rest of my life and loose the 40% of the function in my right arm.  Very scary indeed.

Just recently my girlfriend's sister was brushing her teeth and all of a sudden she lost feeling on her right side and her speech was slurred.  After a half hour the speech and feeling came back.  She went to the hospital and after weeks of tests it appears she had a mini stroke, she is only 37.  she doing great and rides her horse Daily.

God bless and good luck!!!!
