In one word...........yes.  I have to have 2 bottles for DS's scripts, one for school and one for home.  But in regards to splitting between homes, since his scripts are probably written for a month's supply (right?), it is COMMON practice for pharmacies to label 2 bottles for one script, just for this reason.  And if your ins. has prescription coverage, it probably will only pay for one script per med a month.  It's for the entire month, regardless of where he takes it.  Anything above and beyond that (making your ex pay for any at her home) you would have to pay full price for.

As for the CPS, talk to the teachers and let them know what is going on.  You will get better results from CPS if an objective 3rd party makes a report, rather than what they 'assume' is a disgruntled parent.  If the school staff is aware of what meds your son should be on (ESPECIALLY if he should take any during school) and isn't getting it, thus having these kinds of accidents while in your ex's custody, they have every reason to report it to CPS.  They are all mandatory reporters, bound by law to inform CPS of any suspected abuse or, in this case, neglect.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog........if you can't play with it or eat it, pee on it and walk away.......
