Our granddaughters just went back to BM's after a 2 week visit here with our son, their dad.  They were wearing sneakers from last summer when they arrived and they complained that their toes touched the ends of their shoes, and their feet hurt.  When I said they needed some bigger shoes, they said "NO!!  We don't have any money!  Mom doesn't have any money for new shoes....she's saving to buy a pony!!"

Mind you, since our son's CS was increased 4 years ago, BM has bought herself a new Jeep, 5 horses, and 3 goats (to add to the rest of her menagerie), and the kids still dress like street urchins.  When they got off the plane they were wearing clothes that were dirty and tattered and old.    It's infuriating!

Your right!! Let it out gmaoftwo.  I good vent now and again in the right setting can help clear ones mind.

Welcome to my (our) word!!  Governmental regulation of the family.  I pay an unaccountable check (under the guise of CS) and am forced to be a visitor in my sons' life.  The state now decides when I can be with my son and how much I must pay.  If this type of regulation went on in a married family there with be riots in the street.

I did a lot of ranting and raving when I first entered this board.  It was suggested that I do what everyone else here was doing "learn the laws governing my case and become active in changing the system."  I am passing this wisdom to you.

However, you are welcome to explode here when ever you want.  It is a healthy way to deal with the injustices you are witnessing.

Welcome to the club, my stepkids always come in nasty clothes that should be in the trash, I have NO clue what bm spends the cs on, hell she has been getting almost an extra $200 a month for daycare, in which the kids ARE NOT going to.

Pretty sad huh. When my son goes to his dad (rare occassion) He is dressed propertly, I couldn't imagince sending my child out the the house they way my stepkids come to ours.
