Summer vacation conflict

Dear Soc,

In Indiana.

Decree states I "shall have four weeks visitation during the summer which shall be divided into two week segments".

I notified Mom (CP) in March of my vacation plans. In May, Mom states school will be starting early in August and my vacation overlaps the first three days of school and wants me to change my vacation schedule. I told Mom I would be thrilled to take our daughter to school on those days and pick her up when school is out.

Mom wrote back two weeks later to let me know the decree states I will have vacation time with our daughter for the summer and to change my vacation schedule to another two week period.

I cannot change my schedule at work due to scheduling conflicts and I suspect Mom will attempt to file something with the Court to limit my vacation time even though I have offered and would be delighted to take our daughter to school which is 15 minutes from my house.

1. Is there anything I can file with the Court to make sure I don't lose any vacation time and be able to take my daughter to school on those first three days?

2. Is it likely the Court will limit my vacation if Mom files something to limit my time?
