I am now in Pro per as I do not have any money to afford and attourney to represent me in my case any longer. I would like to be pre-pared for the hearing(s) that are up and comming. I have one next week. I am ok with all my paper work and so on. But I would like some help regarding simple termanology and court room ettiqute and so forth.

1. Can you please explain to me what the objections and when and how I should use them? ie. Hear Say, Relevence etc...

2. Should I always adress the Judge your honor?

3. What should I adress my sons mother by her name or by the repsondent which she is?

4. What should I adress the opposing counsel?

5. Can you please just brief m on the things that I need to know to not look foolish and actually be able to stand my ground without opposing counsel trying to run over me?

6. Also I would like to question the respondent about her income and expense document which is very wrong which I can proove. Is there anything I can't say or ask or do abotu ehr financials?

Any help would be aprecited Soc.

Thank You!

This is a huge subject. You don't realize what you're asking. Even if I list the objections, you still probably won't realize when to make them. Read the following outline on evidence and see if any of it makes sense. If it does, then ask specific questions.

Yes.

Ms. _________. You can also ask if you may address her by her first name. If she says yes, then go ahead (sometimes this diffuses the tense atmosphere and leaves the witness more likely to screw up).

If you're stating an objection, then when you address the court you say, for example, "Objection: the witness (or respondent) is non responsive. I request that the court order the witness to answer the question directly."

>4. What should I adress the opposing counsel?

opposing counsel

>5. Can you please just brief m on the things that I need to

Go to the court and sit through a day of His honor's courtroom. Then do what the winning attorneys do.

Opposing counsel will object if you say something you're not supposed to say. All questions are relevant unless timely objected to.

I didn't want to take up any space here in Soc's forum, so please read my posting in the general section concerning courtroom realistics.

Hope this help some!
