My kids were taken from there mother and placed into foster care. We had joint custody. The goal is to have them here with me and my fiance, ss says. But since none of my rights have been terminated, what are my rights with my kids, since there in foster care. I am still paying child support but the mother is not, and she is working. Can they leave out of state? DO i have any say with medical and school stuff? Like can they just put my kid on some medication without even consulting with me?

You need to file for frequent & meaningful visitation & reunification. Do NOT (I can not stress this enough) DO NOT rely on CPS to stand by what they say. You need to have an order signed by a JUDGE. You take this matter to court.
Here is some information on your rights:
http://reliableanswers.com/cps/legal/handbook.asp
You should note that 15 out of 22 months in non realtive foster care is a case for CPS to terminate your rights & adopt those children out. Once this happens that is almost nothing you can do unless you have a ton of money. Get moving!!

How was CPS able to take the kids from their mother?  What was their excuse?

Your rights?  You have no rights.  Actually, you do, but it's up to you to enforce them.  Check out the link that KAT posted.  I bookmarked it, since my ex and his wife decided to do something very stupid recently.

We're on our way out of town, with a stop at the doctor.

I glanced at the link you provided, and bookmarked it to read when I get back.

Because of a couple of factors, mainly a completely incompetent probate attorney, we're going to be staying with my daughter, her bf, and their daughter.  Not enough room for all of us.  There's #1.  Car accident aside,  I plan on homeschooling my 10 yr old and almost 17 yr old, until we can find a decent place to live.  There's #2.  I just found out why my daughter couldn't do me the simple favor of calling some charter schools to find out what I need to enroll them.  She had to apply for welfare, because her bf's unemployment benefits ran out.  #3.  That's a biggie right there.  They've been going to some classes for 8 hours a day.  My bf lives about 100 feet from them, and is calling people he knows to get me the information I need.  Thanks to our terminator governor, he yanked the funding for charter schools.  No rental agreement, no utility bills, no ability to enroll the kids in regular public schools.  #4.  I think it's a felony not to have your child enrolled in an approved indoctrination center, excuse me, school.

It's bad enough that my ex and his wife are doing this to grab the youngest kid, but this could impact my 2 yr old granddaughter!

HI,
social services is on the case, not an actual cps worker. I know there pretty much the same. We have visits every week, and have gone through two social workers, were on are third, luckily the foster mom agrees that they should be with us, and now we have all 3 of the boys living with them. They have been in ss care since march of last year. They were taken cause of abuse on two and the threat on one. They took the mother to court where to pleaded no context, she has supervised visits. She also has maunchen by proxy. The goal from what we have now been told is to have them live here with us, we have enough room now and we have done all that they have asked. We have court in oct for the final permency plan. I was asking about the records cause last year we got two of the boys, but they did not give us the oldest son's(the school's) and we have been trying to get medical, but someone just told me know that thats ss job, i have to go through them, but our past two ss workers said for us to do it on our own. I just want to make sure we have it all and are kept in contact with the school about the boys. There starting a new school this year(two of them are) so i am trying now, but have not had any responce.
