> ----- On Wednesday December 1, 2004 11:00 am to 1:00pm, the Alabama Coalition for Fathers and Children (ALCFC), in an effort to acknowledge non-custodial parents who by actions of vindictive ex-spouses or biased court orders will not be able to spend anytime with their children this Christmas, will rally at the Jefferson County Domestic Relations Court 2124 7

> Ave North in downtown Birmingham. This rally/demonstration is also in support of international actions sponsored by Fathers 4 Justice UK which will take place December 17, 2004 in cities around the world.
> Alan Rusmisel Vice-President and co-founder of ALCFC remarked that, “We want these parents and children to know that they are not alone and are remembered in our prayers during this holiday season. It is a terrible dose of reality to wakeup on Christmas morning alone and without your children and no chance of sharing Christmas with them. It is very unfortunate that Alabama Domestic Relations Courts through their winner take all system, perpetrate such horrendous conditions that deprive the children of a loving parent especially at Christmas time”.
> The Alabama Coalition for Fathers and Children is comprised of parents, children and grandparents who have been victimized by the Domestic Relations Courts. We promote, support and engage in peaceful direct action that focuses attention on the atrocities committed by Domestic Relations Judges who use the divorce industry against parents, children and grandparents. ALCFC needs the support of people who want to change the system and are willing to make the sacrifices necessary to bring about change. After all aren't our children worth it.
