Without going into the LONG story.....I have recently filed for custody of my daughter after discovering that her mother has reconciled with her ex-husband who has a long history of domestic violence and other felonious activity.  The X has been in jail for 6 months and they were divorced while he was in jail.  During the divorce he threatened to kidnap my daughter, to kill me and my wife and burn our house down, to kill my ex-wife and had made numerous threats to our friends and relatives via telephone.  I've concluded that he is a psycho.  My only concern is this.....I've dug up a lot from his past including reports of abuse on my daughter's mother.  How much is too much???  I know how courts are and I don't want to seem like I'm being petty.  This guy has a record going back to 1996 but I'm not sure if I will come off looking like a jerk for dragging up every little thing he did.  I thought maybe someone who has had success in a custody battle could give me some tips on what is viewed as evidence and what is viewed as slanderous.
Thanks for your help. :-)
