What are the difference between the two, i live in new york

I have sole cust, does my son's farther have a say in if i want to relocate? Is it hard ti relocate?

CustodyIQ

Generally, you'll be able to move if you have sole custody.

GENERALLY, it's up to the non-moving parent to demonstrate how the move will harm the child.

But move-aways are a state-by-state thing, so check with an attorney in your state.

Also keep in mind that it's best to keep two healthy parents in a child's life.

If the father is a healthy parent, then consider that such a move would likely have a negative impact on the child (regardless of whatever positive that could also come from it).

If the father is not a healthy parent, then it's a much easier decision for you.
