I've been having some issues with visiting my son he is 12 years old.His father has custody.I only get every other weekend.About a year ago he got with a woman and that's when the problems started.I gave it a few months hoping the jealousy on her part would settled down.Then it was he would give me my son when it was convenient for him.The last time i saw him was the middle of may.He has stop my whole family from having contact with him no phone calls or anything.We have always been a big part of his life.I had custody of him til he was 8.Then i was having some issues mostly financial.And decided to let him have custody.For the first 2 years things went fine.So i'm thinking something might really be going on since he has stop all contact.I have made several attempts to go to the house to get him on my schedule weekends and nobody is ever there.I filed a motion of contempt 2 weeks ago but have to wait 6 weeks for a hearing.Thats along time to wait for me.I miss my son and i know he misses me and my family.The last couple times i did go out there i took the sheriff's with so there would be no problems.Since nobody's been home on friday evening i decided to drive out there today.Somebody was finally there so me and sheriff's went to door took him a minute to open but when he did he came flying out his door pointing his finger and screaming at me to get off his property with the sheriff's right there.So they made me go back over to my car and wait they talked to us seperately.Pretty much told me they cant make him give me my son even though i have court papers.That i had to wait til i go to court and informed me that i'm not allowed back on the property there or im getting arrested.I think this is all crazy i just want my visits with my son and want to know why he doesn't want us seeing him anymore.I;m really worried and need to know if there is anything else i can do.If anyone can give me any advice please Thank you

Not too much you can do until court. Since you put in contempt papers it is pretty serious and he will have to answer why he stopped visitations. Ask for make-up time for the weekends you missed in the contempt papers and sanctions that the court see fit.
If child is involved in activities, you can still show up to them or when school starts be involved that way too. Just do not go to the house and get yourself in trouble before court. Email, text, or even send an overnight letter asking to see child.
You can also ask for court ordered counseling for either you and child, or even you and father so a counselor helps you two co parent even with a step parent involved.
What are the issues? What is he complaining about?

That's just it i don't know why.He stopped talking to us all together.So don't here about any issues.I don't want to think this but it does cross my mind we heard he back into drinking pretty heavy.I'm just worried if there is abuse going on.I'm asking for counseling that's already on my list.I'm waiting on doctor records.They have him on adderall which i don't believe he needs.He has lost alot of weight in the past few months.It might be the medicine because i did some research on that.The last few months my mom has been the one making contact with him.I think it made the girlfriend at ease and i didn't mind as long as i got my son.But for him to just stop all contact is very weird.I heard they are planning on moving to worried he just gonna disappear on me.I guess i will have to wait and see what the judge says.

We also have a 15 year daughter which lives with me.He will not even let her talk to her brother or have any contact.Now the new girlfriend has 4 kids of her own that she does not have custody.Which i like to find out why but she does have visits with them.They all have facebook except my son.Our daughter is allowed to talk to them on there but not he brother.

Get a copy of the police report showing your tried to go as proof. Did the police see your son as a welfare check to see if he was okay? Can your daughter check on him? Get the contact info for GF ex and contact him. See what the circumstances were.
When you go to court, you can request that son have a facebook account to keep in contact with mom and family or be allowed to have a phone to text/call that you will pay for.

i did get a copy of police reports except for the last one i have to wait til monday.My son was not at home when i was there today and they wouldnt tell me where he was.The girlfriend's mom has custody and already did my research on her she did 2 to 15 years in prison for drugs.Can't find out excactly how long she did thats what is says on court papers.I did get my son a phone and he said he lost it which i know is a lie it was just a prepaid one that i could add minutes for him to talk to me.Then father got him a safelink phone and that disappeared too.but hopefully the courts will order these things for me so i can have contact with my son more often.

You can request that everyone take a drug test within xx days of court (you too). See if she/he are clean. Using her record you have every right to ask or even ask that she not be allowed near son especially if they are not married.

Its the girlfriends mom that did prison time but the girllfriend did 6 months on a drug charge.So i 'm requesting we all do drug test
