Visitation Order

My dh has a court order that states:

The father shall have child all summer from one day after school is out until 2 days before school starts. Mother shall have child every other weekend when father only has Saturday & Sunday off (Note; father is off work every other fri - mon). Plus mother gets one week summer vacation with child with 30 days notice and no vacations or extra time is to interfere with fathers long weekend.

1. We took this to mean that the rest of the year the father gets the child on his short weekends. Is this the correct interrutation? All lawyers we consulted agreed that it is.

2. We were in court over this as mother will only let us have him on the father's long weekend during school (child is 8 and in school and lives 3 hours away, the court also recognized that we have 2 homes, one in another state and that is where we are at on our long weekends). CP knows that during school year we cannot have him from thurs night through mon night because of school. Yet, in court the magisitrate put in her decision that father refuses to take child on his long weekends, giving up four days of time twice a month. How could she come to that decision?

3. We plan to appeal and wonder if you know a case law to cover this, we have been researching for weeks since we feel the magistrate decision is flawed.

4. Court order also states dh to pay 51% of unreimbursed medical, magistrate found dh in contempt for not paying 68% because that is what CP testifed to in court which is not what is in the court order. Is there a case law on magistrate making rulings that are not what the current court order states?

Thanks so much for any help!
