Vacation request

Dear Soc
             Ex and I live in NJ. We have been divorced 4 years, and have joint custody of our 2 children. We each get 2 weeks vacation time with the children each year.
My question is, how much advanced notice is she required to give me when she requests vacation time?
She is also requesting her remaining week of vacation (5 days) to be taken 1 day at a time, on weekends when the children are sch to be with me. This is due to her having no vacation time left at work to take a complete week.
Is she allowed to break her vacation days this way?

Your custody/visitation/parenting plan orders control every one of your questions. What do your orders state? If they are silent on an issue, then you do what's "reasonable" and in the child's best interests, and if there's a dispute, you must ask the court to clarify the orders, so as to resolve the controversy.
