You may apply for a restraining order if he has threatened you or intimidated you in some way. Do NOT apply for a restraining order just to make things difficult for him or your ex. Seek a restraining order only if you have a valid reason to do so.

You should be able to find a record of the dissolution at the courthouse. An inquiry to the local court clerk would be the first place to start.

If a father signs the birth certificate and a paternity affirmation, he is the legal father in the eyes of the law. Voluntarily signing these documents makes it very difficut to overturn or deny paternity later in court.
