I am looking for advice in dealing with child support issues

I have repeatedly notified Pima County, AZ Officials of the fact that I have paid over
$26,000.00 in child support for both current and past due child support.  I even provided complete copies of my records and receipts as requested.

Pima County had no idea I was paying child support until I notified them.   Even when my  salary was being garnished, I overlooked that as long as the whole situation was being resolved. A  letter dated March 31, 2000 says I owe $6704.00 in child support yet the letter dated November 12, 2003 says I still owe $6066.00.

Clearly, the child support obligation has been more than but they refuse to acknowledge the child support I have paid. According to the county, all I can do is submit a request for an administrative hearing in Phoenix. I need to fight this matter and am looking for advice on how to proceed. I have spoken to an attorney and he wants approximately $1500. to handle this. I have some of that but may have to cash out my 401K to do this. Even then, there's no guarantee he will get the whole matter resolved in my favor.

Well not sure how things work down there but the attorney will undoutibaly be youre best option(note look at more than one attorey) most attorneys dont want to realy get involved due to the fact thT THEY HAVE TO WORK WITH THESE AGENCEYS everday, how ever some will do it,,,now of course you can do this on youre own but expect HELL and expect CSED OR THE COUNTY to retaliate against you everytime you file a motion or present facts,,,youre not alone ime going through a very similar case here in Alaska and its oing to be interesting becUSE THIS ONE IME DRAGGING CSED and the state in ,,,lots of luck Leon
