On Friday evening at about 8 pm CST I will be interviewed on Krights Radio about the paternity fraud and following custody battle.

On Monday we have our final hearing regarding custody of my dh's beloved son, keep us in your thoughts & prayers.

It's all over but the shouting!  Today the grandparents were told make an agreement with my dh or wind up quite possibly with less than he was offering for a shared parenting agreement.  Five hours later they finally relented to a shared parenting agreement with my dh as the residential parent.  Tomorrow we have to go back to court to iron out the final details.

We're doin' the Snoopy Happy Dance!!!

That is wonderful hun, I am so happy for your family.  Continued good fortune in the year ahead.

LOL I am sure the grandparents weren't to happy to be told to make an agreement, man wouldn't you love to be a fly on that wall tongiht.

Happy dance and hugs to you and yours.

It took another 4 hours to iron out the details.  Their attorney at one point resorted to actually whining to the magistrate "why are you giving them everything they want but not giving us what we want?"  The magistrate replied "Because they have not asked for anything unreasonable and they have offered something in return for every "take" they have.  You, have not."  rofl  We actually only had to concede on 2 points.  When everything was done and they had to go before they judge the grandmother had to be told she must make an audible response instead of just biting her lip and nodding.  Then as a parting shot they made comments about "his future mental health and bringing us back to court".  I'm sure that will work well in our favor when they do try to take us back and I'm sure they well.  It will go to show they signed the agreement with every intention of bringing us back on whatever they could trump up even as they were signing it.  Gotta love people who can't keep their feet out of their mouths.  They also stated yesterday that in defiance of the court order that no one speak to the child about the ongoing court negotiations they had already told him he would be coming to live with us.  They said he was very depressed and taking it badly.  Yep, he was taking it so badly that when dh called last night to check (because he was concerned about how his son was taking it) the boy answered the phone with an enthusiastic "hiya dad!" and they continued to talk for 30 minutes without one word being said about the impending move.  Maybe he's having one of those "bouts of euphoria" they get so concerned over.
