what can i do?

my ex-fiance skipped town on july 11th,she is now 15 weeks pregnant with my child.i knew where she was last week,but now im in the dark on her where abouts.our baby is due on january 15th of 2005.
i recieved an email the other day from here that she had miscarried,but through other resources i have found out that shes still pregnant.
if somebody can tell me what im able to do,id greatly appreciate it.

Currently, while she is pregnant,, nothing legally you can do.

As soon as the child is born, you will more than likely need to file in court for either custody, or visitation.


About the only thing you can do now is have a PI investigate her.

a registry for fathers. You register with them so that it is known that you're the father, in case she tries to put it up for adoption, they would notify you. That depends, of course, on whether you are actually the father. Once you were notified you could file for paternity.

If you know the area she is in near her due date, you may have to call the local hospitals and hope they'll tell you if she has delivered.
