i am a ex felon who has had custody of all three of my kids.full costody of my oldest son and my youngest daughter. my middle daughter 12(different mom) the big problem here i just have legal coustody of and visitation order of thursday to sunday one week and friday to saterday the next alternating.

I went to prison 1/ 2000 and was released 8 /2002 for transportating and possesion of marijuana no previous criminal record.
since then my oldest has turned 18 and my youngest daughter 10  lives with me    24/7.
My ex let me see my middle daughter the day i got out and told me visitation was changed when i went to prison but she would allow me every other week insteat of every week. But its been more like every 6 weeks with no holidays or fathers day ect. last weekshe got fired up and said she did not want me to visit our daughter any more and i would need to contact her attorney about it.I went to the police dept. and showed him custody papers he said orders are in full effect and he contacted mom.

She stated she would rather go to jail than let me see our daughter and mom would hide daughter from me with her family instead.i have visitation comming up and i am scared.mom will get on daughters case if she trys to go with me.i am at a loss its time to modify and i do not know how to approch it. can you offer help?

1st of all, what do the orders say?

2nd, has there been a modification?

3rd, why is she denying visitation?

Unfortunately, there is no short cut to the system.  You must file a Motion in Court to seek an Order that memorializes the schedule that you have followed.

Make sure you can clearly document tha time on a calendar and any other issues that show you were and are an involved parent.
