I'm new here and I need some help. I'm not married but I have never missed a child support payment and I have tried to visit whenever it was possible. But visistation has always been at her house (I'm the father) and my son is almost two years old. I want to take to my house for visitation because he has yet to meet my entire half of the family. The guidelines say that she is supposed to allow him to visit me for over night visits at my home but everytime I file for contempt the judge just blows me off! What can I do?

does your order specify the weekends you get, like 1,3,4 weekends from friday at xx time to sun at xx time

If so then keep filing contempt and request that missed visitation be made up. Make sure when you pick up your child you have a 3rd party with you to testify to what happened.

Document everything.

Others will be able to tell you more.

One of the first things you'll hear around here is "Document, document, document!". Having good records is *crucial*. Get yourself either the Parenting Time Tracker (PTT) at: http://www.deltabravo.net/custody/tracker.htm or the OPTIMAL Custody Tracking service at: http://www.parentingtime.net. The PTT is good, but the OPTIMAL service is definitely better.
