The Advice Goddess: 'I'm Not Anti-Male'

From Glenn Sacks....

This is CLASSIC. When women complain, they're "airing their feelings" or "communicating" or "sharing". When men complain, they're called "whiny crybabies".

God forbid a MAN should ever have a valid complaint or want to be listened to. Call up this Sunday and give "The Advice Goddess" a piece of your mind. Let her know that trivializing the problems that men face is NOT the way to behave.

If Amy Alkon wants to be taken seriously, maybe she should stop acting like such a sexist pig. Equality, remember? Branding the complaints that men have as "whining" isn't the way to foster cooperation between men and women.

Some of you may recall that a few weeks ago nationally syndicated advice columnist Amy Alkon (aka the "Advice Goddess): criticized me for being a "whiny crybaby." After I fired back at Amy on the air she says she was "deluged with mail" from angry His Side listeners. Alkon says she is in fact very supportive of men and of fathers' rights, and wants to set the record straight. She will appear on His Side this Sunday, and I encourage you to call in at 1-800-770-1540.

For those who are outside of our radio station's coverage range, you can listen to the show live via our station's excellent Internet stream at Listen Live. Again, I invite you to call the show and join the discussion in progress at 1-800-770-1540.

Fathers' Rights activists and the National Organization for Women will be squaring off at the Legislative Office Building (LOB) in Albany, New York on May 4. NOW, having reestablished itself as a legitimate force after its genuinely impressive show of force in Washington, DC last weekend, will be stepping up its legislative attacks on fathers in coming months.

When NOW learned that fathers plan to rally they announced that they would be counter-protesting across the street.
